The Mentawai Surf Institute is a proposed specialist international centre for surfing education, professional coaching, ocean safety, surf science and marine stewardship. Rooted in the Mentawai Islands, MSI will connect practical experience in the water with the knowledge to build a life around it.
Our ambition reaches beyond performance: to create professional pathways for emerging Indonesian talent, advance ocean research, and help protect the places that make surfing possible.
